Liam Neeson opened up about the death of his wife, Natasha Richardson in a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Anderson Cooper. The veteran actor and action movie star spoke with candor five years after the tragic accident that claimed the actress’ life and spoke on other topics in the wide-ranging interview. The 61-year-old Liam Neeson has brought the gravitas that won him critical acclaim in such movies as ‘Schindler’s List’ to the action adventure genre, notably the ‘Taken’ franchise. As a couple he and his 45-year-old wife Natasha Richardson — the daughter of acting legend Vanessa Redgrave and the late director Tony Richardson — were in the prime of their respective careers. But suddenly, she lost her life in a freak skiing accident in Quebec, Canada. She suffered an epidural hematoma, causing swelling of the brain which left her brain dead.
