Miranda Lambert graces the cover of ‘Marie Claire’ magazine and opens up about her weight loss, her marriage to fellow country music star Blake Shelton and more in a wide-ranging interview. She also poses in a swimsuit which highlights her successful efforts to slim down. The 31-year-old Miranda Lambert recently released her fifth studio album,’Platinum.’ But, as she reveals to Marie Claire magazine, that’s not her only milestone this year. She has also lost 20 pounds and shows her svelte figure off to good effect in the photo spread. It was one of the topics she spoke out about; this constant scrutiny, unfair as it is, of women who are in the public eye. Miranda Lambert said of her weight loss, “‘When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your s—’s not jiggling.” She went on to say, “I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized.
