Taking his talents into a new realm, Jake Gyllenhaal is headed to Broadway.
This upcoming winter, the "Brokeback Mountain" hunk will star in Nick Payne's acclaimed experimental drama "Constellations," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
In a New York Times review, Ben Brantley described the play as "about the limitlessness of physics and the enclosing limitations of human existence." Adding, "Constellations is a superb play that gets into your head and under your skin with an immediacy that sometimes tickles and often hurts."
The actress portraying Jake's love interested has yet to be announced. It's set to premiere MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in January.
