French duo Daft Punk swept all five Grammy Awards for which they were nominated and with music legend Stevie Wonder as well as Pharrell Williams and Nile Rogers they delivered an epic live performance of ‘Get Lucky,’ their smash hit. Yes, indeed, it was a jam session of monumental proportions at the Grammys, spanning genres and decades of music and continents. The Staples Center audience collectively rose to their feet to dance to ‘Get Lucky’ which has topped charts around the world last summer and is from Daft Punk’s multi-platinum selling ‘Random Access Memories’ album. It was a rare live performance from the duo comprised of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, both 39 years old and from Paris, France. But yet Daft Punk were on stage in white uniforms and their signature helmets. Never without these masks in public, earlier in the evening, walked the red carpet clad in tuxedos as you can see from the picture above. On stage, they were in a glass enclosed “recording booth.” Stevie Wonder traded vocals with Pharrell Williams as Nile Rogers rocked out on guitar.
