Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, John Goodman: SNL ?Three Wise Guys? Christmas Parody (Video)

Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro joined SNL host John Goodman in a hilarious Three Wise Men parody. They were The Three Wise Guys from the East Coast, namely Long Island, New York and New Jersey, and like the originals, they were headed for Bethlehem bearing gifts. Yes, the actual actors, not impressionists, were seen riding camels and wise cracking as only contemporary East Coast wise guys from could do. These three kings may not have been from the Orient, but during the course of the skit they did identify themselves; Sylvester Stallone as “Sanitation King of Massapequa” (Long Island), John Goodman as “Furniture King of Bayonne” (New Jersey) and Robert De Niro declaring, “Me, I do a little of this, a little of that. Don’t worry about it.” Yes, anachronisms, word play and jokes were aplenty — GPS was “going places by stars” — as the three wise guys headed onward to Bethlehem. Stallone says, “We got all dolled up. Put on these stupid turbans. Who is this kid? Jesus? Latino? Do we even know his last name?” De Niro says, “Christ, I don’t know,” but goes on to assure his travel mates that “this kid will be big.” [...]
