Though she?s best known for her major roles in Hollywood feature films, Scarlett Johansson has decided to give it a go on television.
According to a Deadline report, the ?We Bought a Zoo? babe will star in an eight-episode period series based on ?The Custom of the Country,? a 1913 novel by Edith Wharton.
In the project, Scarlett will play a young Midwestern woman who moves to New York City and tries to climb the snarky social ladder.
In related news, Johansson and her fianc Romain Dauriac recently welcomed a baby girl named Rose and they?re currently planning their wedding.
Scarlett previously told press, "It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success. There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all. I know that with that there will be some sacrifices. I know that's the struggle with working mothers and successful careers. It happens."
