It was one of the hottest supernatural thrillers of the 1990s and now ?The Devil?s Advocate? is being developed into a TV series.

Based on the 1997 film starring Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron and Craig T Nelson, the new project will be produced by John Wells and Arnold Kopelson for NBC.

At this point, Matt Venne is writing the pilot about a public defender who accepts a job offer to work for a high-power law firm run by the Devil himself.
