We learned that "Glee's" final season is cut down to 13 episodes, and now we finally know the reason behind the shortened series.
Fox chairman Peter Rice told press during the TCA tour that it's a way to savor the finale. ?We want to go out in a way that celebrates it. We thought that a final 13 episodes and compacting it and doing it in a straight-run was a better way to finish the show."
And though there are plenty of rumors that cast members are fighting, which led to drama on set - most of those rumors are completely false. For example, Naya Rivera will return for the final season, despite reports that she was fired.
On Sunday (July 20) Rice noted, ?I think Glee is one of the great shows in television history? it was so hot and so big. It touched so many hearts and it brought social issues to floor and it burned so hot and so fast.?
