Santa Monica was a little hotter tonight (March 1) as the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards brought stars like Forest Whitaker, Jason Bateman and Elisabeth Rohm to town.
Sporting some snazzy threads, the stars turned heads as they made their arrival at the big beach tent and smiled for the shutterbugs.
One day ahead of the Oscars, the 2014 Spirit Awards includes a host of artists who don?t usually get their due recognition.
The Best Director nominees are Alexander Payne (Nebraska), Shane Carruth (Upstream Color), J.C. Chandor (All is Lost), Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave) and Jeff Nichols (Mud).
