Bette Midler Gives a Moving Tribute Performance of "Wind Beneath My Wings" at the 2014 Academy Awards

Her acting and her voice are legendary, and Bette Midler wowed the crowed at the 2014 Academy Awards tonight (March 2) with her moving tribute to the industry's talent who passed away in the last year.

Dressed to the nines in a a floor length black and red gown, Ms. Midler belted out her hit "Wind Beneath My Wings" after a slideshow commemorating those who died.

Bette's performance was one of many music numbers throughout the show. Pink, Pharrell Williams and U2 were among those who also took the stage in song.
