Hart Of Dixie To Return On Jan. 23rd

With Hart of Dixie returning after a short holiday break later on this January, show runners have revealed some casting news surrounding the second half of season one. Get an update on Hart of Dixie below and watch the video preview. Rachel Bilson’s onscreen father will be making an appearance in the Hart of Dixie’s upcoming episode. The CW has announced that actor Gary Cole has been cast to play Zoe Hart’s surgeon dad, who fans know is not her biological father, but the man who raised her. Cole is slated to show up in the quirky, small town of Bluebell for a two episode arc, giving show runners a chance to tackle the storyline of Zoe and her father, as well as her previous failed attempts at joining his practice as a partner before leaving the city. Fans will most likely get to see Zoe and her Dad also try and make peace since she discovered the truth about their relationship after relocating to the south.
