Despite an order that requires her to return to her Central Floria home by Thursday morning (August 4), Casey Anthony may not be returning to Orlando any time soon.
Back on Monday of this week, Judge Stan Strickland - who has since recused himself of the case - signed off on an order that would demand the 25-year-old to return to her former home to serve out one-year of supervised probation in a check-fraud case.
However, Casey's legal team says that's just not going to work, "Right now we're filing one motion to vacate that stupid order," attorney Cheney Mason told the Orange County court.
Miss Anthony's lead lawyer, Jose Baez, also relayed his worry over his client's well-being if she were to go back, "We have an issue of safety. The last thing we want to do is put Casey in harm's way. They had to shut down streets for us to leave Orlando. I certainly don't think that's something they want to embrace for her to return," he explained while on the "Today Show."
Whatever her reasons are not to report, she faces still penalties if she fails to do so - as she could be handed further jail time if she doesn't comply.
