Stepping out with her significant other by her side, Katie Couric was spotted leaving her New York City apartment earlier today (April 12).
The 53-year-old, who just released her new book "The Best Advice I Ever Got," was all smiles during the casual Big Apple outing while wearing a white sweatshirt and blue jeans.
After the recent announcement of her departure from the "CBS Evening News," Katie has thrown her support behind an upcoming feature documentary on obesity.
There is no word on what Couric's role will be in the project, but her spokesperson offered this to press, "Katie is being supportive of the project because she cares about the issue (of obesity)."
