Amanda Knox Wins Appeal, Set to Go Free
Ready to find out her fate, Amanda Knox sat nervously while awaiting the reading of the verdict from her appeal on Monday (October 3).
All part of the highly-publicized challenge to her previous murder conviction, the 24-year-old took to the packed Italian courtroom in her jail attire while surrounded by police personnel.
Trying to maintain order, the judge in the case told onlookers, "Silence, please! Silence, please!" as he readied to announce the ruling - which ended up overturning Miss Knox's murder conviction.
Coming as overwhelmingly joyous news, Miss Knox burst into tears as she ended up only being held as guilty of defamation for her statements originally implicating another man in the murder - a crime in which she was deemed to have already served her punishment.
The finding comes as Miss Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were previously convicted in a 2009 verdict of murdering British exchange student Meredith Kercher.
In her final plea for a change in findings, Amanda tearfully said to the jury, ?I did not do the things they say I did. I did not kill, rape or steal. I was not there.?

Rachel Bilson's Grove Weekend Retail Therapy
Getting a much-needed break from her recently chaotic work schedule, Rachel Bilson treated herself to a leisurely day of shopping at the Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 2).
The always-adorable actress was joined by a gal pal as the ladies roamed the popular retail grounds with Rachel looking a bit upset over being followed by a pesky paparazzo.
The outing comes as Miss Bilson can be seen in an all-new episode of "Hart of Dixie" airing tomorrow night (October 3) at 9/8c on the CW.

Getting plenty of support from his fellow celebs, Kanye West made his fashion show debut by holding his Dw by Kanye West Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2012 show in Paris, France on Saturday night (October 1).
The "All of the Lights" hitmaker showed off his seemingly well-received line at the Lycee Henri IV venue, with Lindsay Lohan, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Ciara and Jared Leto among those observing from front row seats.
Clearly not as confident with his fashionable talents as he is with his music-making skills, West told reporters following the catwalk display, "I'm so scared, I'm so nervous."
He continued, "The biggest conversation I hope I can end tonight is whole 'celebrity designer' thing. That's the biggest hurdle when you want to get amazing people to work for you."
Singer Ciara had nothing but kind words for her pal after taking in the KW women's wear presentation, as she said that Kanye "did a great job. I walked away from this show feeling like I would love to wear this line. There is so much in it that's right up my alley. Especially since for me, it's so cool to see someone come from our music world and do something like this. It's really hard," she said a backstage interview."

With an unexpected downpour interfering with her weekend errands, Ashley Greene got caught in the rain while out in Manhattan on Saturday afternoon (October 1).
